Employers
We can offer advice to employers on how best to manage issues relating to human resources. Our
service covers all aspects of the employer employee relationship, from the preparation of
contracts of employment to advising on redundancy and disciplinary dismissal.
Employees
We offer advice and representation in with the following areas;
Unfair Dismissal & Wrongful Dismissal
when you have already been dismissed by your employer for reasons that you believe are unjustified.
Constructive Dismissal to bring a claim of this type you must show that
the behaviour of your employer made it impossible for you to stay and that you had no
alternative but to leave.
Discrimination we can advise you on any action to take if you feel you have
been discriminated against on any of the statutory grounds, whether that discrimination
occurred whilst you were employed or when you applied for a job.
Redundancy if you face redundancy we can advise you on the legality of what your
employer proposes and also on your entitlements.
Compromise Agreements if you leave your employment
by agreement with your employer then you will usually be required to sign a compromise
agreement which sets out what has been agreed. It is a requirement of law that have legal
advice on the agreement, most employers pay for the advice. We can advise on whether
you should sign the agreement and seek to negotiate the best settlement for you.
Harassment and Bullying if you are
being, or have been, subjected to either bullying or harassment at work the employment
department can help and advise on what course of action to take.
