Services for Business
We can advise at the beginning of a business venture on the appropriate trading format, be it partnership, limited company or limited liability partnership. We can then attend to the necessary documentation, including partnership deeds, memoranda and articles of association and shareholder agreements. Our property department can advise on any premises you may wish to occupy. If licenses or planning permission is required we can help obtain both. When things are not going so well we also handle all types of business dispute, be it disputes with customers or suppliers over payment or disputes within the business. The employment team can assist with the drawing up of contracts and procedures and also with disciplinary matters.

Services for Individuals
We are able to assist the individual client across the field of litigation. We are able to advise on areas that one would expect, such as property disputes, contractual disputes, insolvency, sale of goods and professional negligence claims. We also, however, have very significant experience in dealing with the media and in particular with defamation cases, many of our cases are high profile and “reputation management” is an area with which we can help.

The litigation team are happy to act as agents in both County and High Court matters throughout Merseyside and the North West. We can also attend Tribunals, Enquiries and Inquests. The firm has experience in dealing with costs only litigation and has acted in a number of high profile cases.
