Paying for our services

We offer competitive fees and much of our work is charged on the basis of time spent by person dealing with your file. In some matters we offer fixed fees, in conveyancing matters for example. We will always be happy to discuss our fees and give quotations or estimates prior to you engaging us to do any work on your behalf.

As well as the hourly rate, other funding options (depending upon a client’s circumstances and the particular case) may be available. These include:

No win No fee (conditional fee) arrangements – in which you keep all the compensation if you win and pay us nothing if you lose.

Legal Expense Insurance and Family Legal Protection – Under most free-standing, home and contents insurance, car insurance and credit card policies (or trade union membership covering legal costs) there is the legal right to instruct independent solicitors of choice to do the best for you rather than solicitors tied to the Insurers (or trade union).

Legal aid, For those clients who qualify, we may be able to assist under this public funding scheme.
